Thanks for dropping by. David Maguire is a country rock singer songwriter from Galway, in the west of Ireland.
To date David Maguire has had three radio hits. The self penned Close to My Heart was David's debut single. It is one that will get your feet tappin' and in no time you will want to hear it again and again. The B-side to this single was The Next Time I'm in Town which was written by Dire Straits front man Mark Knopfler.
The second single David released was Speed and the Sound of Loneliness which was a written by John Prine. It got great coverage around Ireland on all the radio stations and is still very popular.
In January of this year David released The Homes of Donegal which was recorded by people such as Paul Brady and Daniel O'Donnell. This song has been the most successful song for David to date.
David is currently recording an album with some of the finest musicians in Ireland.
