To date as an artist David Maguire has released his debut album titled Four Walls. The title track from the album is a song which he wrote himself along with Close to My Heart and Nights of Summertime. David is currently organising the recording of his second album.

David’s first single was Close to My Heart which David says himself was an “experiment”. Due to popular demand and many requests David recorded Speed of the Sound of Loneliness, Homes of Donegal and David’s biggest hit to date Cannibals which was in the Top 10 requested songs of 2007. Early 2008 saw the release of Nights of Summertime.

In 2010 David released a song which he wrote about a man who immigrated to New York and longs to take his American bride back to the Shores of Galway Bay. This song is very up-beat and is sure to make you want to get up and dance.

David released Four Walls in December 2010 and shot a video for the song at Wicklow Jail which received a lot of media attention. Please check it out on Youtube.

David is currently organising the recording of David’s second album with some of the finest musicians in Ireland.
